DESCRIPTION:Bring up to 10 items of clean swappable women’s clothing\, shoes\, bags or accessories and exchange them for something new to you. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 7.00pm and the event ends at 8pm\, but please do not arrive later than 7.45. \n\n\n\nEntrance fee will be £3 in cash only please. \n\n\n\nThey will be issuing points on a voucher for every item you bring\, then deducting points for every item you take away. You can then keep your points for the next exchange. If you still have your voucher from last exchange these will still be valid and accepted. It is up to you to keep your voucher safe until the next exchange\, we will not be keeping a record. \n\n\n\nThey can’t take Children’s clothes\, but there is a children’s clothes swap 10am\, second Monday of every month in Kenn Road Methodist Church. \n\n\n\nIf you’d like to volunteer on the exchange please get in touch. They are always needing more volunteers.

DESCRIPTION:Where: Yatton Village Hall \n\n\n\nWhen: 10am – 12noon\, on the second Saturday of every month (except August)What do they do? A repair café is a community initiative that bring together people with skills to repair and those who want items repaired. People are invited to bring their broken or damaged items for repair\, and volunteers attempt to fix them. At Yatton Repair Café they have a small team of volunteers who can do mainly sewing and electrical repairs. They will do our best to fix your broken items and save them from going into the bin! They follow the Repair Café guidance and are registered on their international network.

DESCRIPTION:FREE EVENT \n\n\n\nPromenade is a weekend programme of local art commissions\, activities\, and events exploring place\, environment & the natural world through multidisciplinary contemporary arts and socially engaged practice. \n\n\n\nRooted in Weston’s unique coastal landscape\, Promenade welcomes location-specific artworks\, workshops & activities\, music & performance\, walks & talks\, happenings & interventions taking place along Weston’s promenade. \n\n\n\nFive new micro-commissions feature newly developed work from South West early-career artists: Chloe Walker\, Simon Hamlyn\, Caitlin Dawkes\, Simone Marconi and Miranda Collis. The commissioned artists will present new artworks that explore Weston’s coastline across a range of disciplines including movement\, sculpture\, natural materials\, textiles\, sound\, and animation. \n\n\n\nThe wider programme also includes a 16mm film commission about Birnbeck Pier by artist Laura Phillips\, a poetry commission about the RLNI by Beth Calverley with community-led activities including a showcase from Weston Loxton Art College students\, performances by Super Culture Youth Theatre\, screenings of One Minute Experimental Sea Films captured by Weston’s communities and much more. \n\n\n\nPromenade compliments Sea Like a Mirror\, a major touring programme commissioned by Cement Fields to mark the 200th anniversary of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)
