The Mycelium Network

The Mycelium Network are a welcoming group who meet once a month online. You do not need to live locally to join the group but you must live in the UK.
They come together to share what they know and have experienced in nature. The Mycelium Network is open to beginners and experts of all ages. The aim is to learn from each other and encourage each other to keep building our nature knowledge.
Everyone who wants to will have a chance to speak in the group and contributions of all levels are welcome, it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or have advanced knowledge, we are here to learn from each other. Here is a list of things that you might like to share with the group:
• Knowledge, for example how to ID different species, info on the ecosystem, theories and gardening tips.
• Nature art, crafts and photography.
• Observations and reflections on a recent nature encounter.
• Readings: poetry, books, articles. These could be written by yourself or another author.
• Nature inspired music.
• Nature journaling.
• Tips for bringing nature indoors.
• Anything else nature related you would like to share!
There will be some tasks set in the session that you can complete for the next one, but there is no pressure these are are straightforward and open to your imagination.
The group is facilitated by Sophie from We Are Nature. She is an experienced facilitator and Forest Therapy guide, who will be learning alongside you.
